Produced by Kemar McGregor for No Doubt Production, Trumpet Riddim arrived in 2015 with a sturdy roots-reggae feel and a strong cast led by Anthony B, Chezidek, Duane Stephenson, Gyptian, and Lutan Fyah. The lineup also includes Junior X on Love, Natty King with Dem No Real, Natural Black, Norris Man, Perfect, and Lukie D, plus a title cut from Kemar Flava McGregor and Stephan Warren. McGregor, who built No Doubt Records into a long-running production outlet, keeps the rhythm clean and melodic here, with the trumpet motif giving the project its name and its identity in the mid-2010s reggae catalogue.
