“Tropical Zest” runs on a bright, mid-tempo soca groove that leaves plenty of room for the vocals, and the strongest pull here is the pairing of King James and Shenseea on “Never Have I Ever. ” The set is lean, with just three songs plus the instrumental, so it plays more like a tight showcase than a crowded compilation, and “Bring It” from Wildfire and I-Bari keeps the energy moving before CL Productions closes with the riddim cut. It was issued in November 2018 as a four-track EP on CL Productions.
