TRIUMPH RIDDIM produced by STONE AGE PRODUCTIONS 2010
Triumph Overview
In 2010, sound systems across Jamaica and beyond gave the Triumph Riddim plenty of play. The riddim was built for bashment sessions, with its sharp drums and lively melody making it a favorite for selectors. In dancehall culture, a strong riddim can set the mood for the whole night, and Triumph Riddim did just that. The music came from STONE AGE PRODUCTIONS, a label known for its work in the dancehall scene. STONE AGE PRODUCTIONS has been behind several popular riddims, and their tracks often get picked up by top selectors. Their attention to detail and knack for creating rhythms that work well in dance clashes have earned them respect in the industry. Triumph Riddim brought together a talented group of artists. Blass delivered “Journey,” riding the beat with confidence. Bugle’s “Eyes Fi Open” stood out, and Bugle is also known for his hit “Journey” from earlier in his career. Delus, who was the brother of Konshens, contributed “Sticky Out A Road.” Denyque added her song “Keep Hope,” and she is recognized for her smooth voice and tracks like “Supergirl.” Determine’s “Friends” brought his signature style, adding energy to the mix.
