Elijah sets the tone on Triumph Riddim with “Wisdom, ” a cut that feels like it’s reaching for something deeper than the usual party-charge, and that’s what makes this 2009 Yardlife Entertainment set stick in the mind. The handful of voices around it keeps the focus tight: Mr Pepper and G Maffia come in with “Dem Life, ” Ratigan rides “Money On Ma Mind, ” and Shane O’s “Cyaa Hear” is the one that gives the riddim a sharper dancehall edge.
