Supplied by a 2009-era session with just three cuts, Se Shwan Riddim keeps the focus tight: Jah Shawn’s “Slant It” leans into sharp-edged dancehall attitude, Mikey Spaid’s “Me Haffi See” rides the groove with a more direct, pleading hook, and Neptune’s “In Love With You” softens the set with a romantic turn. The riddim itself feels lean and slightly raw, with that late-2000s digital pulse that leaves plenty of space for the vocals to cut through rather than drowning them in arrangement. It’s the kind of small-press dancehall package that says a lot with very little, and in 2009 that stripped-down approach was still a reliable way to get a tune moving in the dance.
