TIME RIDDIM produced by OWN MISSION RECORDS – 2011
Time Overview
Matthew Mcanuff, Luciano, Chuck Fendah, and the Own Mission Crew all joined forces on a reggae project that made a big mark in 2011. Each artist brought their own style and energy to the set. Matthew Mcanuff, known for his powerful song “Health And Strenght,” was a rising voice in reggae before his untimely passing. Luciano, who delivered the track “The Wicked,” is celebrated for his classic album “Where There Is Life” and is often called “The Messenjah” for his positive messages. Chuck Fendah added his song “She Deh Deh” to the project, bringing a new voice to the mix. The Own Mission Crew, with their instrumental “Time Riddim,” helped tie the whole project together. This reggae rhythm project was shaped by OWN MISSION RECORDS, a label known for working with roots and culture reggae. The label has been active in the European reggae scene, especially in France, and is respected for supporting both established and new artists. Their focus on deep bass and classic reggae vibes gave the project its strong foundation. When the “Time Riddim” project came out, it quickly became a favorite in reggae playlists. The artists’ uplifting vocals and the label’s strong production kept the spirit of roots reggae alive in 2011. Even today, these tracks are played by reggae fans around the world, showing the lasting power of this collaboration.
