THIRTEEN SCROLL RIDDIM produced by NATTY POWER 2016
Thirteen Scroll Overview
The Thirteen Scroll Riddim began in a small studio, where musicians worked together to create a classic roots reggae sound. The goal was to build a riddim with deep bass and warm melodies, inspired by reggae’s rich history. The creative direction came from the foundation builder, who wanted each artist to have space for their own message and style. Producer NATTY POWER played a key role in shaping the riddim. Known for his work with the Natty Power label, he has produced many reggae projects that focus on real instruments and authentic sound. His approach kept the music true to its roots, while also making it fresh for new listeners. Each artist brought their own voice to the Thirteen Scroll Riddim. Chyna Nicole’s “His Majesty Completes Me” stands out with her smooth vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Chyna Nicole is known for her album “20 Years in the Making,” which showed her talent as both a singer and songwriter. Ed Robinson, with “Retaliation,” adds a strong, soulful touch. Robinson is famous for his cover of “Knocking on Heaven’s Door,” which topped reggae charts and brought him international attention. Galaxy P delivers “Better Be Good,” giving the riddim a lively dancehall flavor. Determine’s track, “A Child Is Born,” shares a message of hope and new beginnings. Ian Sweetness brings a romantic mood with “Cross My Heart,” showing his skill in lovers rock reggae.
