This one sits comfortably in his early-2010s catalogue, where the beats tended to hit with crisp drums, bright synth lines and enough bounce for sound system play without losing their street edge.

Take Over moves with uptempo pressure and a sharp, digital feel, the kind of riddim that leaves space for hooks to bite. The arrangements keep the bassline active and the percussion tense, so even the more playful cuts land with a bit of menace. Aidonia’s “Miss Yuh Fuck” is the obvious pull, especially because both the clean and raw versions were pushed; that alone tells you how much weight the tune carried.
