Ainsley “Notnice” Morris has long been one of Jamaica’s more recognizable modern dancehall producers, known for clean, rhythm-first productions with a sharper, more melodic edge than the average juggling. Here he strips things back to a 70-BPM pulse and lets the mood do the work.

The title alone signals the tone: reflective, bruised, and heavy with memory. Chronic Law opens with One Dream, bringing his usual hard-eyed street realism to a slower, more contemplative setting. Jah Vinci’s Mamma adds the kind of emotional reach that has made him one of dancehall’s most tuneful voices, while Natural Black’s Own Story pulls the riddim deeper into roots territory with a singer known for conscious writing and a smooth, steady delivery. Nordia Mothersille’s Walk Away adds a younger voice to the set, giving the project a female perspective without breaking the mood.
