THE MUMMY RIDDIM produced by MASHWORKS FAMILY STUDIO 2017
The Mummy Overview
The Mummy Riddim festival collection made its mark during the 2017 Carnival season, bringing new energy to parade routes across the Caribbean. This soca rhythm brought together a group of artists who each added their own style to the lively festival soundtrack. Fragile stood out with the song "What Are Those," giving fans a catchy tune to dance to during the festivities. MashWorks Family Studio Productions, known for their skill in producing soca hits, created the riddim itself with the track "The Mummy Riddim." The studio has a reputation for shaping the sound of modern soca and has worked on several popular releases in recent years. PPM joined the lineup with "Free the Jab," a song that fit perfectly with the Carnival’s high-energy spirit. Smallz teamed up with K.C for "Drunk & Stubborn," a track that quickly became a favorite among parade-goers. K.C. also appeared on the same song, showing versatility as both a solo and featured artist. Warlord contributed the lively "Jab Position," adding even more excitement to the collection. Thanks to MASHWORKS FAMILY STUDIO’s production, the Mummy Riddim stood out in 2017’s soca scene. The collection’s smooth beats and festival-ready songs made it a highlight of that year’s Carnival celebrations.
