TELL ME WHY RIDDIM produced by JOE G MUSIC 2015

    Tell Me Why Overview

The Tell Me Why Riddim came together in the studio with a real sense of teamwork. Musicians and singers worked closely, building the foundation rhythm step by step. The sound is warm and classic, with a strong roots reggae feeling. The dub engineer played a big part in shaping the music. Using effects and mixing skills, the engineer gave the riddim its deep, echoing vibe, making it feel right at home in any sound system. At the center of the project is producer JOE G MUSIC. He is known for his work on several reggae projects and has helped bring together many artists under his label. JOE G MUSIC guided the overall sound, making sure every artist’s voice fit the riddim perfectly. Each artist brought something special. Mickey Mclean’s “Tell Me Why Riddim” sets the tone with heartfelt lyrics and strong delivery. Vivian Jones, a respected reggae singer with hits like “Red Eyes,” adds his smooth style to “Cool Baby Cool.” JC Lodge, famous for her 1982 hit “Someone Loves You Honey,” brings her sweet vocals to “Pull Up.” Abelwell Foundation’s “Fall A Fresh” keeps the roots energy alive with conscious lyrics. Don Ricardo’s “Anytime” offers a classic reggae feel, while Jayjay Born2sing’s “Making Me Smile” and Derek Litchy’s “Tell Me Again” round out the set with fresh voices and melodies. The Tell Me Why Riddim stands out as one of the cultural highlights of 2015 reggae.
