Tantrum Overview
In 2014, reggae music saw a strong return to its roots with the release of the Tantrum Riddim. This foundation rhythm offered singers and deejays a solid base, keeping the classic reggae sound alive. The project came from WHITE STONE PRODUCTIONS, a label known for its careful approach and respect for authentic reggae storytelling. Over the years, WHITE STONE PRODUCTIONS has worked with both new and established artists, helping to bring fresh energy to the reggae scene. Several talented artists recorded on the Tantrum Riddim. Brahyhan Art gave a heartfelt performance with "Another chance," showing his smooth vocals and emotional delivery. Ras Brando brought his unique voice to "Deh suh far," adding depth to the riddim. Crisopolis delivered "Good Love," a track that stands out for its catchy melody and positive message. Dylan Murray teamed up with Maurice Gordon on "Hold Me," blending soulful singing with Gordon’s skilled guitar work. Maurice Gordon is well known for his guitar talent and has worked with leading reggae musicians both in Jamaica and abroad. Dubtonic Kru, a respected reggae band, contributed "Hold on still," adding their signature live band sound. Bushman, famous for his song "Fire Bun A Weak Heart," performed "Reminiscing," bringing his powerful roots style to the project. Each artist brought their own flavor, but together they created a release that honored the roots of reggae.
