Decision Productions was still a young outfit when it dropped Summer Medz, and you can hear that eager, homemade feel in the way the riddim chases a breezy summer mood without losing its dancehall bite. The strongest cuts are the ones that keep the hooky, party-minded energy front and center — Bryka’s “Party Haad” and Drewzie’s “Weekend Ravin” both lean into the season’s careless-night-out vibe, while Laden’s clean “Bad Girl” and Imani’s “You Lie So Good” give the set a sharper melodic edge. Built for the 2016 summer run, the riddim also carries voices from Esco, G-Cleff and Rhythm Piink, with the whole project landing as one of Decision’s early statements after their first release, Fully Bad.
