Home Grown Records’ Stir It Up Riddim sits right in the middle of the label’s 2005 output, a compact five-cut set that keeps the focus on melody and lovers-rock warmth rather than heavy shake-the-floor pressure. The voicing has that clean mid-2000s reggae polish, with Da’ville and Anthony Cruz opening things up on “One More Time Again” and Tippa Irie later bringing his easy patter to “I’m About Doing It, ” while Peter Spence’s title cut leans into the riddim’s sunny, nostalgic pull.
