Calcium Riddim – 1st Foundation

Three singers and a cut of the riddim is all Calcium needs to make its point, and that tight four-track structure gives 1st Foundation’s 2005 production a very focused feel. Jahmali opens with the plaintive “Stop I Cant, ” Richie Spice follows with the sweeter, more urgent “Gone A Stray, ” and Sizzla closes the vocal run on “Bring All Your Love” before the version steps in. Richie Spice is the name that keeps popping up around the riddim in the catalogs, which makes his tune the obvious anchor here.
