Sparxx Riddim – Bosch Records

Di Rebel’s “Party Contradiction” gives the Sparxx Riddim its sharpest opening shot, and Bosch Records keeps the energy moving with a compact 2014 soca set that runs seven tracks deep. The instrumental is bright and punchy, leaning on a quick carnival-ready bounce rather than anything too heavy, so the vocals have room to stay playful and direct. Fullanny’s “Busstop” and Lano Di Rula’s “Wine Mek Mi See You” keep the mood in that cheeky, road-fete lane, while the trio of Master, Lega-C and Dr Rum on “Give It To You” adds a busier, more call-and-response feel to the rundown.
