2014 was a busy Carnival year for soca, and Titans Riddim sat right in that sweet spot where the season was chasing big choruses and heavy road-ready momentum. Madmen Productions and Full Blown Entertainment keep the rhythm taut and punchy, with a bright, jack-in-the-pocket swing that leaves plenty of room for the vocals to cut through. Machel Montano’s “She Coming” is the one that grabs first, all attitude and pressure, while Kerwin Du Bois turns “Spoil Mehself” into a slick, playful win. Destra Garcia closes it out with “State Of Mind, ” which gives the project a cooler, more teasing finish and rounds the sequence off neatly.
