Donshorty’s S. M. E Riddim comes in with a thick, no-nonsense dancehall pulse and a huge roster that keeps the energy moving in different directions. The 2011 set runs deep, with 36 tracks credited to 36 different artists, so it’s less a tidy showcase than a crowded street session where every voice tries to cut through. Afrokan, Bacalive Mc, Beatman, and Jaffa all land on the sharper side of the riddim, while Jahyno and Little Killah push things with tunes like “Fi Di Riddim” and “Miss Facebook” that nod to the era without losing the yard-level pressure. Donshorty keeps his own “S. M. E Riddim” cut in the mix too, which helps frame the whole thing as producer-led but still very much artist-driven. The strongest pull comes from Little Killah’s “Miss Facebook, ” a tune that catches the riddim’s restless bounce and gives the compilation a late-period 2011 stamp.
