By 2018, dancehall was in one of those lean, digital-heavy phases where a clean riddim and a sharp voicing could carry the whole thing, and Sky Levels sits right in that pocket with eight songs from eight different artists. Danny English is the name that jumps out first, but Blu Fox’s “Taken” and Major Hunty’s “Ghetto People” help give the set its shape, moving between tough patter and more street-level commentary over Jumpout Productions’ steady, uncluttered swing.
