A mid-tempo, waistline-ready dancehall cut with a bright, feel-good lift, Happy Feeling Riddim leans into the more uplifting side of 2018’s juggling style rather than anything overly hard-edged. Anthony Records keeps the package tight with seven tracks and a full instrumental closing it out, and the sequence gives Tycoon’s “Good Day” a second pass in raw form after the clean cut, which makes that song the obvious anchor here. K Sling’s “Give Thanks, ” D’Koncep’s “Life Goals, ” Patexx’s “Happy Lifestyle, ” and Fannah’s “Gyal Dem A Mi Baby” round out the vocal side without crowding the riddim.
