Shibuya Pop Riddim – Selector Hemo Presents is a 2014 soca release from Selector Hemo’s LIME Records era, pairing Japanese island-pop ideas with a Caribbean carnival feel. The set runs nine tracks with seven unique artists, including Kevin Lyttle and Skinny Fabulous on I Love Carnival, Lukie D on Pure Love, Nicky B on Get up and Dance, and Romie on Carnival Is Mine and The Legend Party. Hemo appears twice on the tracklist with Shibuya Pop Riddim and Shibuya Pop Riddim Pt. 2, which helps give the project a branded, producer-led identity.
