SHATIXX RIDDIM produced by MAFIO HOUSE PRODUCTIONS 2012
Shatixx Overview
The yard session tape that shook up 2012 dancehall started with a lineup that was hard to ignore. Each track carried its own energy, but together, they made the Shatixx Riddim a staple at bashment sessions. Lieutenant opened strong with “Badman Imitation,” bringing a classic dancehall vibe that set the tone for the rest of the tape. Byronn followed with “Kite Yo Pale,” a song that quickly became a crowd favorite. Elji’s “No Gunshot” added a message of peace, which stood out among the party tracks. T Jy’s “Papa Pa La” kept the energy high, while Tai J (Danjaahtai) delivered “Haterz,” a track that resonated with many fans. Other artists on the tape made their mark too. Seize came in with “Dancehall Solibo,” Diamond with “Dji Zup,” and Panik J with “Elle A Envie.” Saaturn’s “Nou Enmen Alcool” and Rocki’s “Joinn Tchok” rounded out the session, each adding their own style to the riddim. Among the artists, Lieutenant is known for his steady presence in the dancehall scene. Elji, originally from Guadeloupe, has been recognized for his work blending Caribbean and African influences. These artists, along with the others, helped make the tape stand out. Behind it all was MAFIO HOUSE PRODUCTIONS, a label with roots in the French Caribbean and a reputation for high-energy dancehall and zouk productions. Their experience in the studio gave the Shatixx Riddim its polished sound. For dancehall fans, 2012 would not be the same without this yard session tape.
