RUNWHE RIDDIM produced by EQUIKNOXX MUSIC 2007
Runwhe Overview
The Runwhe Riddim was built in a Kingston studio, where musicians and producers worked together to capture the reggae energy of 2007. The creative direction came from EQUIKNOXX MUSIC, a production team known for mixing classic reggae with new ideas. EQUIKNOXX MUSIC started in Jamaica and has produced tracks for many important artists, helping shape the sound of modern reggae and dancehall. Each artist brought their own style to the riddim. Alozade delivers “Nuh Bwoy Cyaa Step To Dis” with his strong voice and streetwise lyrics. Alozade is known for his hit single “Bad Man Nuh Pet Gal” and has been a staple in dancehall since the early 2000s. Bassie’s “Fly By Night Badman” adds a smooth, rootsy feel to the mix. Bling Dawg teams up with T.O.K on “Wanna Stop Me.” T.O.K is one of Jamaica’s most successful dancehall groups, famous for songs like “Footprints” and for bringing harmony and energy to the genre. Chemical’s “Easy Easy” keeps the vibe relaxed and catchy. The riddim also features Chino with “Nuh Bwoy Cyaa Drape Wi,” Delly’s “Inna False Hair,” Hawkeye’s “Woi Woi,” and Monsta Shack Ft Monsta Twins with “Fi Di Betta.” Each track stands out but fits together, showing the strength and unity of reggae music in 2007.
