REVELATION RIDDIM produced by RB RECORDS – 2011
Revelation Overview
Revelation Riddim came together in a Kingston studio in 2011. The producer, RB RECORDS, wanted a dancehall sound that would bring people to the dance floor. RB RECORDS is known in Jamaica for working with fresh talent and has helped launch several local acts. The label’s focus is always on real dancehall energy, and this riddim was no different. The creative direction was clear: make something bold and modern, but keep the roots of dancehall alive. In the studio, RB RECORDS used hard-hitting drums and catchy melodies. The result was a riddim that felt both new and familiar, ready for the next big party. Each artist brought their own style to the project. Jason Bless opened with “Praise Mi Lord,” a song full of gratitude and spirit. Jorap followed with “God Ova Devil,” showing powerful vocals and a strong message. Nexchange joined in with “Last Days,” adding a sense of urgency to the mix. Prayz also performed “Last Days,” giving the riddim another unique voice. Ron Testify delivered “Cyaan Do Me Nutten,” a confident track that matched the riddim’s energy. The release also included “Revelation Riddim (Version),” letting the music shine on its own. This release proved how strong Jamaican studios were in 2011. The riddim quickly became popular at parties and festivals. Each artist gave something special, but the sound was always united. Revelation Riddim showed what can happen when a good producer and talented artists work together with a clear vision.
