A taut, mid-tempo dancehall cut with a crisp digital snap and enough low-end weight to keep the selector busy, Pulse Riddim finds Don Corleon in that pocket he knew so well in the late 2000s: clean, tough, and built for voicing. Capleton’s “Dem Bun Up” and Elephant Man’s “Clown We Out” bring the fire and the attitude, while Mr Vegas slides in with “Dance Floor” and Munga gets two passes on “Anywhere Mi Go, ” one clean and one raw. The sequencing keeps the energy moving and then closes with the version, so the instrumental gets its own space after the vocal runs. Released in 2009, the set also includes cuts from Tifa, Savage, Timberlee and Professor.
