Afro D Riddim keeps its focus tight: seven cuts, one straight dancehall framework, and a small but telling lineup that leans on lover’s talk and social tension more than big crossover gestures. Emperor lined it up in 2018, and the set moves cleanly from Mitch and Dalla Coin’s “Family Around” and the rawer “Friend Around” into D’Angel’s “Physical, ” with Bro Falcon, Angelo, and Hitman Wally filling out the rest before the instrumental closes things off. The production runs with a brisk, hook-friendly pulse rather than anything too heavy or militant, which leaves room for the vocalists to keep their lines sharp and direct.
