Pitch Shift Riddim – Mash Works

A bright, skippy soca cut with a sharp digital edge runs through Pitch Shift Riddim, the 2016 Mash Works production that pairs Flex’s “Hulk” with Loose Cannon’s “Figure It Out. ” It’s a very lean package, just two tracks and barely five minutes long, so the sequencing is straight to the point: one vocal, then the next, with no extra filler or dub variation getting in the way. Flex opens the set with “Hulk, ” while Loose Cannon follows with “Figure It Out, ” and both tunes keep the energy tight and percussive rather than chasing anything overly busy. Pitch Shift Riddim was issued in July 2016 and lists Mash Works Productions on the release.
