Perspire Riddim – Goodlife Muzik

A warm, mid-tempo reggae groove with a slightly rugged edge sits under Perspire Riddim, and Goodlife Muzik keep the arrangement lean enough for the voices to do the talking. The lineup leans heavily into everyday struggle and romance: Ice Cold cuts straight into “Hard Times, ” Jah Chyld brings the rueful grit of “Ghetto Cry, ” and Milton Militant lightens the mood with “Sunshine Girl. ” There’s a nice spread between harder-edged cuts like Vijahlant’s “Harder” and the more sentimental turns from Black One and Dian, so the riddim never settles into one mood for too long.
