Blood Line Riddim – Miller 9 Records

“Bag A Money” is the cut that gives Blood Line Riddim its edge, and Miller 9 Records keeps the whole thing lean with just three tracks in the 2008 set. Vybz Kartel handles the sharper, more restless side of the riddim with the money-talk anthem, while Blak Ryno’s “Askella” rides the same framework in a slightly more measured way, letting the groove do a lot of the talking. The instrumental version closes it out cleanly, so you hear how much of the tension sits in the bare pattern itself. Kartel’s cut is the one that really locks the riddim in place, though, and it’s the track that leaves the strongest mark.
