Party Starter Riddim – Mash Recordz

Back in 2012, dancehall was leaning hard into bashment-ready riddims, and Party Starter sits right in that pocket with its punchy bass and crowd-moving energy. MASH RECORDZ keeps the tempo lively and the mood playful, giving Barry Changa and Josmas’ “Party” and Bling General’s “Summer Tune” the kind of hooky framework that could run a dance without much fuss. Josmas turns up again on “Wainire, ” while Seh Calaz’s “Missin U” brings a slightly more melodic touch that keeps the set from feeling one-note.
