NYGMA RIDDIM produced by FULL CHAARGE RECORDS 2021
Nygma Overview
The party atmosphere on the Nygma Riddim was built carefully in the studio, piece by piece. The creative direction came from the hands of the producer at FULL CHAARGE RECORDS, a label known for pushing modern dancehall sounds. FULL CHAARGE RECORDS has played a key role in the Jamaican music scene, helping to launch several dancehall projects and working with both established and rising artists. Each artist on the Nygma Riddim brought their own energy. Chico’s track, “Choosey,” stands out for its catchy flow and confident delivery. Chico, who is well-known for his work with Dave Kelly on the hit “Bruck Out,” continues to show his skill in blending melodies with dancehall rhythms. Darmain Stiile comes through with “Baby Making (Clean)” and “Baby Making (Raw),” delivering smooth vocals and a romantic vibe. These songs add a softer touch to the riddim, showing the versatility of dancehall. Elephant Man, a true veteran of the genre, delivers “She Love It (Clean)” and “She Love It (Raw).” Known for hits like “Pon De River, Pon De Bank,” Elephant Man’s high-energy style is unmistakable here, making the riddim perfect for the dancefloor. Jupitar adds a touch of Ghanaian flavor with “Hotter Than Fire.” As a known name in the African dancehall scene, Jupitar’s presence on the riddim highlights dancehall’s global reach. Mr. G wraps up the lineup with “Welcome To My Place.” Mr. G, formerly known as Goofy, is respected for his long career in dancehall, including the popular track “Fudgie.” Altogether, the Nygma Riddim captured the rebellious party spirit of 2021 and showed the lasting power of Jamaica’s yard studios.
