Negril Weekend Riddim – Romeich Entertainment

Romeich Entertainment was clearly chasing that early-summer Negril energy on this 2012 dancehall set, and the riddim has the kind of bright, mid-tempo pull that lets the hooks do the talking. Bounty Killer’s “Nah Say We Sorry” is the heavyweight cut here, issued in both radio and raw versions, but the real fun comes in the side-by-side pairing of Patexx and Iyara on “Gal In Your Life, ” plus Versatile and Denyque on “Dream Weekend, ” which leans into the all-night party mood without getting sloppy.
