If you were out at any dancehall party in 2016, you probably heard the Natural Riddim. This riddim brought a real street anthem vibe, with a heavy, bouncing beat that made everyone want to move. The sound was modern but still had that classic bashment energy, perfect for late-night sessions and packed dancefloors. The rhythm was tight and catchy, with just enough swing to keep the crowd locked in. Assassin, known for his lyrical power, delivered “Tun It Up” over this riddim. Assassin (also called Agent Sasco) is famous for hits like “Hand to Mouth” and for his feature on Kanye West’s “I'm In It.” On this track, his commanding voice rides the beat perfectly. Jesse Royal’s “Come From” brought conscious lyrics and a rootsy feel, showing why he’s one of reggae’s new generation stars. Junior Carl’s “Von Gestern” added a different flavor, blending German dancehall with the riddim’s bounce. Irie Révoltés joined with “Jamais Fatigué,” bringing their energetic style from France and Germany. Culcha Candela, featuring Sir Samuel, gave us “Natural,” a song that mixes dancehall and pop influences. Sir Samuel, well known for his work with Saïan Supa Crew, also shines on this collaboration.
