Money Riddim – Hamzman Records

Money Riddim keeps things tight: just two cuts, but both lean hard into the kind of cash-minded dancehall phrasing that gives the title its bite. Nine X’s “Weh Di Money Deh” is the sharper pull of the pair, while Honourable Hamzman’s “Fee Fy Foo Fum” adds a grittier local-flavour hook that fits the same lane without sounding like a copy. Hamzman Records put this out in October 2019, and it sits closer to the lean, no-frills side of the label’s catalogue than any big crossover play. It feels like a producer showing he knows the value of a focused riddim tape: fewer voices, more room for each tune to land, and enough attitude to keep the whole thing moving.
