Suspense opens Sour Dzl Riddim with a devotional turn that gives the whole 2019 Young Genz Muziq set a sharper edge than the title might suggest. Across five cuts, the production stays in straight dancehall mode, with Santiina and Lavish pulling the second track into a more melodic, back-and-forth pocket before KyDa’s Clean N Fresh trims things down with a tighter, cleaner delivery. Street Gena’s Gyalis Code and Grabba Dan’s Boasy keep the riddim in sound-system territory, all swagger and quick-fire phrasing, but it’s Suspense who leaves the strongest mark here with Teach Me How To Pray, the cut that gives the project its hook and its contrast.
