A little 2003 Kingston energy sits inside this one, with KMC Music lining up a small but tidy remix set around the Medium riddim and keeping the focus tight on dancehall voices rather than clutter. Lexxus’ “Wanna Be” comes in sharp and sly, while Merciless on “Gal Dem Callin” gives the rhythm its cheekier, more aggressive pull; Show’s “Ko Mix” rounds out the trio with a looser, club-ready feel. The riddim itself has that mid-tempo, street-corner bounce that leaves room for the deejays to work the pocket, and that’s exactly where the cuts land best. Nice little footnote from the era, really.
