Le-Gions Choir: Unity Riddim arrived in 2017 as a conscious dancehall juggling from Waggyras Records and Le-Gions Productions, a pairing that had already been moving through reggae and dancehall releases earlier in the decade. The set follows that tradition with a devotional, message-driven approach: tough-minded singing, clean digital edges, and a bassline that keeps the whole thing in a steady forward roll rather than chasing anything flashy.

The strongest names here are the ones that already carry real weight in roots and dancehall circles. Pressure Busspipe opens with “Badmind, ” bringing the St. Thomas heat and that emphatic, pleading tone he is known for. Sizzla Kalonji’s “Education” is exactly the kind of culture tune his catalog is built on, sharp and declarative. Lutan Fyah’s “Ghetto Youth Wake Up” lands in his familiar lane of uplift and social commentary, while Teflon adds another serious-minded cut with “Hunting. ” Those songs set the tone for the project: pressure music with purpose, not slackness for its own sake.

The newer and lesser-known voices keep the riddim moving in different directions. Hell Raiser’s “Bleaching Cream, ” J Soul’s “Money On My Mind, ” Patexx’s “Regular Girl, ” Fyah Star’s “Secret Enemy, ” Nerro’s “Straight Load, ” and Elassical Eska’s “Genuine Eden” give the juggle breadth without breaking its mood.
