The Krush Riddim project came straight from BLACK ROOTS RECORDS, a well-known Jamaican label with a long history in dancehall. Their work has helped launch several careers and brought a fresh sound to dancehall in 2013. This bashment release was a big moment for new artists in the scene. Carlos Turner made a mark with “Holiday,” a track that quickly gained attention in local dances and on radio. Flash Raggedy’s “Party” kept the energy high, showing off his playful style. Iq’s “Who Da Gal Deh” also stood out, adding a catchy hook that fans still remember. Teejah & Big Chai teamed up for “We Hot,” bringing a strong duo energy to the riddim. Jdiamondz delivered “Rain Or Shine,” adding his unique voice to the mix.
