KERRY RIDDIM produced by REBEL SOUND RECORDS 2014
Kerry Overview
Kerry Riddim came to life in the studio with a clear vision from REBEL SOUND RECORDS. The producer wanted to create a dancehall sound that was both strong and fresh. Known for pushing the energy of modern dancehall, REBEL SOUND RECORDS had already made a name with several popular riddims before Kerry Riddim dropped in 2014. Their work has been played widely at street dances and on radio stations across Jamaica. The riddim’s hard-hitting beat set the stage for a group of talented artists. Ataru brought the song High Grade, delivering sharp lyrics and a catchy flow. Doza Medicine followed with Rich In A Life, adding his unique style to the project. Frisco Kid, a respected name in dancehall since the 1990s, joined with Nuh Fear Dem. Frisco Kid is well known for his earlier hit Gal Pon Di Side, and his voice gave Kerry Riddim extra power. Kannon English added the party vibe with Lit Up In The Club, while Nuclear kept the energy high on When We Rave. The instrumental track, Kerry Riddim Instrumental by REBEL SOUND RECORDS, highlighted the riddim’s strong musical base. When Kerry Riddim played at street dances, it quickly became a favorite. The project captured the real spirit of Jamaican dancehall in 2014, showing what yard music was all about at the time.
