Kaiju Riddim – Dooload.De|Soulfire Hifi

Dooload. de and Soulfire Hi-Fi kept Kaiju Riddim moving in a straight dancehall line, but there’s a slightly off-kilter edge to it that gives the whole juggling a tougher bite than the average mid-2010s download-riddim. Etzia’s “Keep Me Burning” and Rebellious Lion’s “Wha Dat Me Hear” both sit nicely in that pocket, while Mystic Mc’s “Cucumba” and Ey’Yorr’s “Ey You Gallie Gallie” lean into the sharper, more chant-ready side of the set. Obokeron’s “Do Your Ting” keeps the momentum up without overcomplicating things, and the instrumental from Soulfire Hi-Fi closes it out with the kind of stripped-back weight that lets the riddim’s contours come through. It’s a compact six-track set, and the strongest push comes from Etzia’s cut, which gives the project its most memorable lift.
