A bright, percussive dancehall groove gives Jukebox Riddim its snap, with Digital Sound Entertainment keeping the arrangement lean enough for the vocals to do the talking. D’Lanlord’s “Drunk Pon Drunk” has the most immediate pull, all swagger and party talk, while First Lady’s “When We Wine” slides into the pocket with a looser, more flirtatious energy; Queen Bee’s “Tabanka Blues” adds a sharper, more playful twist that gives the set a bit of contrast.
