GAGA-Productions kept Inna Trouble Riddim lean and streetwise in 2017, giving the set just seven cuts and a tidy roster that moves from Skemo Legen’s title tune to Delly Ranx’s sharper, more seasoned turn on “Get Gal Anyweh. ” The rhythm has that clipped, no-nonsense dancehall pulse that leaves room for the vocals to jab through, and Devin Di Dakta’s “Satisfy” sits neatly alongside Alty B’s “No Sunshine” and Black Orchid’s “Body On Me” without breaking the mood. Delly Ranx is the name that gives the project a little extra weight, but the whole thing feels like a producer’s card laid down with intent, right down to GAGA-PRODUCTIONS’ own “Inna Trouble Version” tacked on at the end.
