Dark Storm Riddim (2017) – Pyroman Productions

Dark Storm Riddim comes in as a sharp 2017 dancehall one-riddim with that moody, alert energy the title promises, pushed by Pyroman Productions and shaped by My Nynyny’s production touch. The lineup is lean but effective: Bisser’s “Dah Lovah” and Mistashab’s “Ghetto Life” set the tone, while Sikem gets two takes on “Siddum, ” one clean and one raw, which gives the project a little extra bite and shows how the riddim can carry both radio-friendly polish and rougher street edge. Snifa’s “Fyer” closes it out with the kind of straight-forward heat the beat seems built for.
