Rooted in the 2015 dancehall run, In The Trees Riddim comes through as a tight five-cut set from Fire Royal Records, with no fat on the bones and just enough room for each voice to land its point. The titles tell you the lane it’s in: Teflon’s “Wall Street (Share The Wealth)” brings the sharpest social angle, Renegad’s “Ital Is Vital” keeps the roots-conscious message rolling, and Empress Veniice’s “System Set” gives the project a steely, street-level pulse.
