Heliumx Overview
In 2018, the Heliumx Riddim brought a surge of energy to Carnival celebrations across the Caribbean. The journey began with a vision to create a truck anthem that would keep the crowds moving from start to finish. The island arranger worked closely with the producer, OPTIMUS PRODUCTIONS TT, to shape the sound. Known for their consistent presence in the soca scene, OPTIMUS PRODUCTIONS TT had already made a name with several high-profile releases and was recognized for pushing fresh Caribbean rhythms to the forefront. The riddim’s base was built for the road: strong, rhythmic, and full of life. As the project took shape, artists like Di Hooligan, Kuttrah, and Mr Bessor stepped up to add their unique voices. Di Hooligan’s "Low" became a favorite among dancers, while Kuttrah delivered "Wining Spirit," a track that captured the essence of Carnival movement. Mr Bessor’s "I.O.U." added another layer of excitement. The collaboration between Springs and Di Hooligan on "That Is Failure" brought extra flair to the mix.
