The Good Gyal Riddim has that early-2010s dancehall snap, all bright bounce and cheeky pull, and Blaqk Sheep / Hot Coffee Music keep the energy leaning toward the girls’ anthem side without letting it get sugary. Gappy Ranks’ “Good Gyal” sits neatly beside Spice’s “It A Ben Dem, ” which gives the juggling a harder, more commanding edge, while Kantana’s “One Gal” and Stylysh’s “My Wine” keep the focus squarely on the dancefloor.
