Flamenco Overview
In 2006, dancehall was full of energy and new sounds. Bashment rhythms were popular in street dances across Jamaica. That year, producer CHALWA released Flamenco Riddim, a project that captured the spirit of the time. CHALWA is known for blending different musical styles and has worked with several artists in the dancehall scene. Cezar brought his smooth voice to the track “Touch It.” He is respected for his vocal style and has featured on other well-known dancehall riddims. Elephant Man, one of dancehall’s biggest names, performed “Me Like It.” He is famous for hits like “Pon De River, Pon De Bank” and is known for his energetic stage presence. Factor Of Renaissance delivered the “Flamenco Riddim Version,” showing his skill in creating catchy instrumentals. S.T.F.J added “Dat Wine,” giving the project a different vibe with his unique flow. Izes contributed “Hypeness,” bringing more flavor and excitement to the collection.
