Festival Jam Riddim – Adriatic Sound

Adriatic Sound’s Festival Jam Riddim leans more toward clean roots reggae than the harder club pressure some producers were putting out in 2015, with a warm, mid-tempo groove that leaves room for the songs to breathe. Richie Stephens leads the strongest cut with “Healing of the World, ” and Exco Levi’s “Rude Bwoy Skankin” brings a sharper uplift to the same frame, while Papa Leu’s “Menu Male” keeps the vibe light and chanty. The project is a tight four-track set released in August 2015 on Adriatic Sound Productions, and the instrumental close seals it neatly, letting the riddim itself carry the last word.
