Feelings Overview
The Feelings Riddim brought together some of the top names in Zimbabwean dancehall. Soul Jah Love, known for his anthem "Mbare Mbare," was a leading figure in the movement. He was famous for his energetic delivery and was a winner of several Zimdancehall Awards. Maggical, another strong voice, delivered the song "Vaudze Vazive" on this riddim. Mbada Kid, who performed "Pahasha," was also part of the project, adding his own style to the mix. Platinum Prince contributed "Akadhakwa," while Cally C came in with "Ukaenda Very Far." The selector’s choice for this riddim captured the raw and exciting energy that dancehall fans wanted. Each artist brought their own flavor, but the songs all fit together on the same catchy instrumental. Other artists featured included Seh Calaz with "Mabhanditi," Xlan(Mbada with "Inini Ndokuda," Edylino with "Mukuzheta," Itana with "Me Know Seh," and T Paul(Mbada with "Bhora Mberi." The producer behind the Feelings Riddim is Levels Chillspot, who is known for helping shape the Zimdancehall sound. Levels is part of the Chillspot Recordz team, which has produced many hits in the genre. Many fans and selectors say that this collection defined the bashment vibe of dancehall in 2020. The songs were played at parties and events, giving people a reason to dance and celebrate. The Feelings Riddim remains a favorite for its tight production and the way it brought artists together on one powerful project.
