Feel Good Riddim arrived in early 2012 from Special Delivery Music, the French reggae camp long associated with Bost and Bim, who helped define the label’s sound with polished, melodic riddims aimed at singers as much as deejays. This one sits comfortably in that lane: smooth, mid-tempo, and built for uplift rather than aggression, with a warm one-drop pulse, rounded bass, and enough digital sheen to keep it moving in sound systems and playlists alike. The title fits the mood. It is the kind of production that leaves space for hooks to breathe.

The lineup mixes familiar voices from different corners of reggae. Da’Ville brings the lovers-rock polish he made his name on in Jamaica, while Gappy Ranks adds the UK conscious touch that made him one of London’s most recognizable reggae exports. J Boog, the Samoan-American singer who built his reputation in the Hawaiian reggae circuit, gives the project a broader island crossover feel. Gentleman’s appearance with Rebillion adds a European reggae link, and the Morgan Heritage family connection runs deep here through Peetah Morgan and Mojo Morgan. Natural Black, Perfect, Loyal Flames, Jah Sun, Steevie Culture, Little Francky and Nico D broaden the field further, keeping the riddim international without losing its roots center.

The strongest cuts are the ones that match the riddim’s easy uplift with firm subject matter.
